Frequently asked questions

Does it work with my existing Reminders and Calendar data?

Yes. TimeDrop reads and writes Apple's data directly, so there's nothing to import or migrate. Your tasks and plans appear the moment you open it.

What happens to my data if I stop using TimeDrop?

Nothing. Your tasks and plans remain in Apple's built-in apps. TimeDrop keeps no data of its own.

Can I see my Google Calendar events?

If the account is added to Calendar on your Mac (Google or others), its events show up and can be edited in TimeDrop.

What are the system requirements?

macOS 14 (Sonoma) or later.

My calendars or reminders aren't showing up

TimeDrop needs access permissions. In macOS System Settings, go to Privacy & Security → Calendars / Reminders and grant TimeDrop "Full Access". Restart the app after changing permissions.

I made a mistake. Can I undo it?

Yes. Press ⌘Z (Edit → Undo) to step back through drops and edits one at a time.

I found a bug. Where do I report it?

Email us at maeken.apps+timedrop@gmail.com. Including the steps that triggered it and your macOS version helps a lot.
